Ryoichi Yamaki was born in Yokohama, Japan on April 1st.

(Alto, Tenor, Soprano, Baritone Saxophone, Flute)
He began playing the Keyboard at age 5.
At age 12, he began to play the Saxophone.
As a high school student, he joined school's brass band. Also he joined many Rock and Jazz bands.
He graduated Senzoku-Gakuen College of Music (Jazz music major) in Japan. Then, he started performance as a professional musician in Japan.
2004, he got scholarship from Berklee College of Music.
He enrolled at Berklee College of Music on September, 2005. He took his saxophone lesson at Berklee with George Garzone, Frank Tiberi, Dino Govoni, Hal Crook, Greg Hopkins and Tiger Okoshi.
